This legendary timepiece gained notoriety when it was worn by the courageous members of the American Navy’s Deep Freeze 1 Task Force during their expedition to the South Pole in 1955-56. Renowned for its reliability and durability in the harshest of conditions, our modern Super Antarctic is an evolution of its predecessor, staying true to the iconic 1950s design. Just like the original, our Super Antarctic features the distinguished 1957 International Geophysical Medallion engraved on the case-back, a nod to its heritage and legacy.

The Super Antarctic exudes a timeless 1950's atmosphere with its distinctive lollipop hour hand and bold sword minute hand combination. Enhanced by the slightly oversized triangle index markers at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, its durability and adaptability in extreme conditions, such as the South Pole, is evident.
