With its Edition Best Friends ( ED-STBF902) , the single-hand specialist MeisterSinger presents a thoroughly unique watch.
Realised in close collaboration with the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), one of the world’s leading nature conservation organisations. After the successful Edition Planet Earth this is the second project with WWF.
The special edition watch is based on the successful Stratoscope series and features a large, precise moon phase indication that glows at night. In this edition, the photorealistic depiction of the passing moon is supplemented by the earth.
The beauty of the planet we call home and its natural satellite is once again shown on a deep black dial. The earth and the moon – the eternal pair in the dark night sky. A firm connection and deep friendship.
Preserving the essential
The WWF, one of the world’s leading independent nature conservation organisations, works to protect nature for the benefit of people and wildlife. The organization is committed to protecting and restoring natural habitats, stopping mass destruction of wildlife, and making the way we produce and consume sustainable.
With a limited edition of 250 watches, the single-hand specialist MeisterSinger wants to support the worldwide work of WWF. For every edition watch sold, MeisterSinger will donate 250 euros to directly support WWF projects.
A watch with a sustainable overall concept
Like its predecessor the Edition Planet Earth, the concept of the Edition Best Friends is supplemented by a vegan strap that is indistinguishable from genuine leather in terms of quality, appearance, and wearing comfort. A sustainably produced case rounds off the concept. The basis is an FSC-certified cardboard box, covered with FSC-certified paper both inside and outside. The lid cushion is covered with recycled velour fabric.
